The Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration returns, merging his music with sweeping orchestration. This 2026 Summer Tour begins August 28, 2026, honoring Garcia's legacy with unique classical interpretations.
Soloists include Melvin Seals, Jacklyn LaBranch, Tom Hamilton, Grahame Lesh, John Morgan Kimock, and Kanika Moore. A special appearance at the majestic residence hall of Vienna's Wolf Trap features the National Symphony Orchestra led by guest conductor Steven Reineke.
The tour visits Philadelphia's TD Pavilion, Holmdel's PNC Bank Arts Center, Bethel Woods Center, Canandaigua's CMAC, and Richmond's Allianz Amphitheater. The program breathes new life into Garcia's masterworks.

Jerry Garcia (born August 1, 1942 in San Francisco) was an American musician and songwriter, best known as lead guitarist & vocalist for the Grateful Dead. His genre-blending style mixed psychedelic rock, folk, blues, country, bluegrass & improvisational jams. Famous songs include “Dark Star,” “Ripple” and “Truckin’.” He was inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (1994), Songwriters Hall of Fame (2015), and ranked among Rolling Stone’s greatest guitarists. His legacy lives on through orchestral tributes and new performances honoring his music.
